Reinstalling Factory back up camera under the camper

Hey all,

Another day, another question... I want re install my factory back up camera from the tailgate under the camper much like Bosque Bill has done. However, the underside of my new camper does not have the cross memebers like Bills (pointed out below with the blue arrows)



The underside of my camper seems to be just a gray painted piece of plywood. My question is this. Is that plywood the thickness of the floor? Or are my cross memebers below that? If I go screwing a bracket into the plywood, am I going to end up with a screw poking out through the floor inside the camper? Obviously I can use shorter screws, but I'd like to make it a bit harder for someone to rip the camera off of there if possible.

I think short, self-taping or wood screws would work fine. No one is going to notice the camera - I have to been over and look to see it myself. The camera is very light so small screws will hold it; if you're concerned, also use a strong glue or epoxy.
