Hi everyone, I have gone a different direction with rigs as I came to the realization that I didn't have the time to convert this into what I wanted.
Here's the info, 1984 Chevy CUCV M1010 Ambulance, basically a K30 truck with a big box on the back.
Detroit Diesel 6.2L "J" code engine with 43,000 original miles
TH400 3 speed auto
NP 208 transfer case
D60 front axle with 4.56 gears
GM Corp. 14 bolt, full floater rear axle with 4.56 gears and Detroit locker
Hummer H2 17" wheels
Pro Comp Xtreme A/T tires, 35x12.5-17, like new
ORD Heavy Duty Steering Brace kit
ORD 2.5" shackle reversal
Tiny Tach LED tachometer
Converted to 100% 12 volt system, including new 200 amp alternator and gear reduction starter
Penisular Diesel glow plug timer (auto and manual settings)
Keneddy Quick Heat glow plugs
Also included but not installed, spare H2 wheel/Pro Comp tire, Mile Marker Premium Hubs The rear box has been gutted and is ready for whatever build up you would like to do. Interior demensions are 107" deep, 75" wide, 65" tall. Starts very easily without smoking. Runs, drives and brakes just fine with no issues. Other than a few surface rust spots on the hood where the paint was chipped off, no rust in cab, fenders, etc. Box is all aluminum so no rust issues for it. About the only thing it really needs to get done is a 2-3" lift on the front to help bring it more level. I was going to do that after I got some weight in the back to see where it would end up settling. Box A/C system still installed but not working due to being a 24 volt system. Rig is 100% 12 volts.
Currently registered in CA with no issue. Smog exempt in CA.
