Fall 2017 Northwest Trip, view of Hells Canyon from Hells Canyon Dam road north of Copperfield on the Idaho side of the Snake River. Hells Canyon Dam road is a good paved road with both popular developed campgrounds and a less busy free NF campground on the river which does not appear on all maps.
