I thought the forum might like to see some mods to my 1986 8' CO. The previous owner did some as well as myself. The camper is rock solidly yet flxibly mounted on the truck bed over a plastic bed liner. It is prevented from fore and aft mov't and does not lean in hard turns. There is a back up ratchet strap used in case the spring mounted system were to fail but it is not tight, just secure.
