We took a drive up the coast from Arcata, CA to Bainbridge Island, WA in 2007. We had one day of blue skies during this August trip. The locals assured us that we needed to come back in June or September. Ooops. The blue sky day was at Cape Perpetua and Yachats, a very cool little town. Lotsa cool little towns along the Oregon Coast.
