The center board was 1/4" and outsides were 1/8" so I put up and screwed a full width 1/8" panel then did both the sides, which were creaking and poping.I have the bottoms tight and pushed the tops as far as I dare, put a screw in to hold and will let them sit a week to get the arc, then fasten them down. Then fit the last top piece.
