- New Escape owners. Worked in the Environmental field during both our careers. Live in a small town in the mountains, Kern County, CA. Chris loves working on our landscaping, and I am an amateur botanist. We have 5 grandchildren, living in northern CA and PA, so we take frequent trips to visit them. Considering a BIG trip across the U.S. to visit our grandsons in PA. Lots to learn!
