No easy way to say this. Yesterday (6/9/21) we sold the rig (truck and camper) in 4 days, losing 8% of the total investment over 9 years. Unbelievable return on investment. 4 Wheel Campers ROCK!!! ...I feel relieved. My body can't do it anymore. I don't have the physical strength. "Another dedicated old guy put out to pasture". Going forward we will be embracing motel camping. Apologizing and looking forward to it.

If you like the way I write check out my new Gratitude book on Amazon Kindle (eBook 2020). Details and link: www.thankyougodthat.com.

Still riding the "RAD pedal assist e-bike". Averaging 125 miles per month. 2700 miles in 31 months. That and swimming keep me fit with a positive outlook in life. Now its time for a hip replacement. Pain in the arm has returned.

Anyway I retired in 2010 - have been camping and exploring the past 56 years. As a family we spent over 40 of those years camping and boating in tents, a tent-trailer, a motor home, a Lance Truck camper (12 years). After the kids left, we went back to a tent (2 years), then a truck and shell (5 years), next a Flip-Pac (8 years). And finally the 4 Wheel Eagle (9 years). I don't know what we will do after I get my body repaired. time will tell.

I posted an article on my amateur build out of the shell: "(( Eagle/Fleet)) shell Amateur Build 2012" - June 4th 2012. To locate it, Go to "4 wheel camper discussions" folder...click on 'Most Viewed'. Scroll down about half way just past the pinned Posts. And thanks everyone for pushing this post past 90,000 views (6/22).

I updated the original post to include "Fleet" comments as the Eagle was discontinued in 2016.
