Bolting rotopax to back wall

Trying to attach my rotopax to back wall, if i miss a stud what do i use as a backer? Just fender washers or what? Looking for best alternatives
 
I mount my rotopax on my Jack mount. That way I didn’t have to put any additional holes in my camper. Just made a bracket to mount rotopax holder to Jack mount.
 
I also built a jack bracket mount, very easy and stable. Aluminum plate and a piece of aluminum angle, few bolts and some drilling holes no problem. The angle is screwed into the wood up under the overhang for extra flex stability.
