Hello Four Wheel Camper Owners,
Four Wheel Campers has become aware of a small batch of deadbolt locks from “Shield Security” which may stop functioning properly. These deadbolt locks were mixed in recently with correctly working deadbolt locks, but only for a short period of time.
How to determine if you have “Security Shield” deadbolt lock:
First verify that your camper deadbolt lock has the “Shield Security” logo above the lock cylinder as shown in the photo below. If it does, we recommend that you replace the deadbolt.
If your lock is a “Shield Security” brand lock, and you haven’t already received a replacement dead bolt from us, please contact the Four Wheel Campers Service Department. They can send you a replacement deadbolt lock at no charge to you.

If your deadbolt says ... "Defiant" on the front of it, or any other brand besides "Shield Security", your camper will NOT need a deadbolt replacement.
To request a replacement deadbolt lock, please email service@fourwh.com and include your name, phone number and camper serial number.
