RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Inreach mini2?

Go to: https://explore.garmin.com/Map (you will need to sign-in as Monte said) I did not need to do anything special with my windows 10 PC. It is a little fiddley to get your PC and smartphone and inreach mini2 to talk to each other, but keep poking at it and it will all work.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Trying Winter Camping

There are ophiolites near Gold Beach Oregon -- which are very underwhelming up close. The best ophiolites in the western US are down in Hells Canyon. I have seen the ophiolites in Oman, which are very impressive. I understand there are quite a few exposures in Cyprus, if you feel like a vacation...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Black Friday/Cyber Monday anyone get a deal?

I splurged on a 17 year old Nikon D200 with fewer than 14,000 clicks on the shutter. Should be here by December 4th. I need another Nikon DSLR like I need a hole in my head. I have way too many Nikon DSLRs as is, including an old D40 of the same age as the D200. The D40 has 6 MP, the D200 has 10...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Black Friday/Cyber Monday anyone get a deal?

I have been curious about lithium batteries. My lead-acid pair are holding up well so far. I am just not clear what the lithium advantages are, but lots of folk I respect seem to like them.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ..........that probably means the road really is closed.

Add in the cost of two stranded, somewhat used motorcycles, which I doubt insurance will cover, and it all adds up to an expensive lark.

Thanks for pointing that out. About 10 years ago I was looking at salmon, steelhead and other fish migrate past the view window at Bonneville Dam -- it was a big run year. I noticed after a while that every fish looked unique. And I saw hundreds that day, maybe thousands. I did get a nice...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Side dinette vs rear dinette vs ?

We went with the front dinette. But we seldom spend any time hanging out in the camper. So, during severe inclement weather, for occasional eating (we do all our cooking outside) and playing scrabble before bed, the front dinette works very well. Stows away quickly and easily. Good storage...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West I need to hear a good new joke

    • Still trying to get my head around the fact that ‘Take Out’ can mean food, dating, or murder. • If only vegetables smelled as good as bacon. • When I lost the fingers on my right hand in a freak accident, I asked the doctor if I would still be able to write with it. He said, “Probably, but I...
