RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2021 Ford Bronco

Looks like Ford got it right again. They got the Retro Mustang right, Chevy not the same with the Camaro. The Retro Bronco is right, and don't get me started on the new Blazer. Ford will be selling a lot of the new Broncos

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Ford F150 Hybrid. Will you need a camper battery?

Ford is adding a lot of power to there 2021 F150. I am sure the F250 will not be far behind. With 7.2kW on board would you need a camper battery? I am sure someone could find a way to change the Hybrid battery by solar. At what the new truck would cost I am sure I will not be getting one...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Let's talk Coffee - Portable MyJo Press Review

If I did not like the coffee made by my AeroPress I would give it a try. I have the AeroPress down to a science. I do a large double shot of espresso and pour 1/2 in two cups. Fill with more hot water and we are done. And I can have an espresso if I want. Clean up just a little more but can do...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West "Lot Rot" & Solar Trickle Charger

I have always kept a battery tender on my motorcycle. Small battery and asking a lot from it. Keyless and the bike is always looking for the fob. On the camper I added a switch to bypass the isolator and the solar charges both the camper and the truck. I know not perfect but works for me. I did...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar on a tight budget. Batteries

Do you have a vented battery compartment? If not I would not want flooded cell batteries inside. If you do any rough off road AGM are better.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Go camping under stay at home order?

My passion before camping is motorcycle riding. But I am staying at home. I sent the comments below on riding to may friends: This is the time for Americans to step up and realize that their personal freedom does not mean that we should be allowed to do as we wish with the freedoms granted in...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West XP Camper Relaunched as Nimble Vehicles

Most people who are looking at $249k or $179k for just the camper may be paying cash. They may also not be affected by the pandemic. May of us who are retired have a set income and saving that are not being affected. Yes a niche market, but the old XP was also a niche market. More than I want to...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2000 Hawk FWC Dinette?

KootFWC your 2000 will not have roll over brackets. On my 2001 I used ski pools to hold the seat back. Roll overs are better. Search this site and you will find a supplier. Last week, we took some friends out to a new restaurant, and noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket. It seemed a little strange. When the waiter brought our water and cutlery, I noticed he also had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Then I looked around and...
