Has anyone here enlarged/converted the horizontal propane tank compartment to accommodate a standard vertical 20lb tank? f so, where did you purchase the door and did you buy or fabricate the plastic liner. I want to seal the compartment from the inside of the camper, so the liner or equivalent...

I would dry them and/or spray with WD40(or any moisture displacing spray) to avoid rusting them. As a plus the WD40 will reduce friction when raising or lowering in the future.

There were some pics and a discussion on FWC or the ATC threads in the past. Last time I saw them was a couple years back and I can't say whether they were new post or someone retrieved them from a earlier post. You might do a search or one of the mods, might be able to locate them.

Looks like the camper jack bracket was hit by something(maybe the other trucks mirror). I would check out the integrity of the bracket before using it, mounting screws might be pulled out of the frame. I don't think the water tank would damage the camper that high up. If it was the other trucks...
