The guy who is going to load it says he used a skid steer with straps. I wasn't sure about that but he said they've done it before and never had any problems with it. I don't see a single mar or scrape on it from the pictures he's sent me.

Has anyone hooked up a 2nd battery under your hood that is tied in with the starting battery for power for the camper? I've been thinking of doing this and have it "somewhat" figured out but not sure what kind or size of isolater I would need. Any suggestions?

Thanks PackRat. I found that Foam Factory has some really good prices! And as kimosawboy pointed out, foam today is far better than in the 1960s so I'm not going to go with 6" thickness but probably 3-4". These cushions will be mostly for sleeping on.

My 8 ft. 1967 NCO weighs 1140 lbs empty.

I had the same issue with mine when I replaced the seals. I scraped it all off, I know it's a pain but I wanted the seals to fit flat onto the surface.

This is exactly what I'm wanting to do to my 67 NCO. Thanks for explaining this and especially for the pictures.
