RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Escape Velocity Achieved

Wednesday I turned in my keys and fob t my place of employment for the past 27+ years then went and finished cleaning out and packing up my apartment. Thursday was load the truck and checkout of the apartment then a quick stop at the storage unit and head over to pick up my trailer that is...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Monument Valley

There is no official camping inside Monument Valley. Some people have made connections over the years with local residents who have arranged for them to stay in the valley but that isn't something that can be counted on. There is a campground across the highway from the entrance, not sure what...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fire ring anyone got ideas

Guessing that was Bill's report of our WRT trip. The Quickfire has been a great unit to have this spring summer. I don't always want a fire but when one is desired it's nice to have and is usually allowed where wood/charcoal fires are not. One word of caution to all using propane fires, just...

A couple from this weekend. Nice when the subject sits still even if the whites did get a bit blown out.

Going the other way regarding camera(s). taking them along but not going to even setup for the eclipse, didn't buy any filters. Going to sit back and enjoy the show and then look at everyone else's pictures afterwards.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West wildfire smoke forecast

While maybe somewhat useful I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in that. This was a picture taken in Spokane when I walked out of work on 08/04/17 at about 6:00PM But the Map for the same time appears to show things fairly clear over the area...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West White Rim Trail - Canyonlands NP - April 2017

Not my write-up. That was Bosque Bill that wrote up the trip. I enjoy planning the trip and am happy to answer questions about areas but when it comes to writing trip reports and summarizing adventures i fail miserably so don't even try anymore.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Sightings thread

Saw a Grandby (?) on a Maroon 1st Generation Tundra Access Cab with Washington plates at the corner of Sprague and Post in downtown Spokane this evening. Watched the owners park and was hoping they were going to come in to the Ale House where I was eating but they went on down the street...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Photobucket latest BS!

I finally got a notice from PB that I needed to upgrade so it seems they are bringing this in somewhat gradually as I don't have a lot of pics hosted there so might not have tripped their threshhold. I do have a smugmug account and will start migrating everything over to it but cleaning up...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West step stool for 4 Wheel Hawk on back of 2003 tundra

I went from a single step foldable to a three step step stool to a set of scissor steps that I found on craigslist. The scissor steps are really nice for in camp but I do find myself sometimes just stepping on the hitch ball and climbing in if it's just something real quick. Wish I'd found the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Front Bumpers, Winches and Lights-Thoughts, Opinions Experience, etc.

Before my desert trip this spring I had HIDs put into the stock locations on my Tundra. What a difference! I was incredibly happy with the lo beams and fogs, the hi beams not so much as there wasn't that much difference and there is the warm up time associated with HIDs. These pics are me...
