I had terrible noise with my camper. Put a wind deflector on the cab of the truck and that eliminated the problem. There was a recent thread on WtW located here.

No issues with weigh but usually pulled over for secondary questions when coming back into the states. Mostly questions about fruit/veggies/meat/alcohol. Never had to open the truck or camper.

Most of the time keep it in 2WD until 4WD is required. Exception is if I haven't used 4WD in awhile I might shift into it just to get things moving around and keep the pieces/parts lubricated.

Mine shows up a couple times in the images link that was referenced above. No mpg improvement but I wanted it to cut down on wind noise as I had a terrible howl from about 30-55mph give or take, that went away with the deflector.
