Without knowing all the specifics it's hard to say for sure. What is the total Ah for your system? Before I put solar on my roof I was running 2 Group 31 deep cycle batteries for a total of 210Ah and figured 2-3 nights without recharging with usage similar to yours. That was during the summer...

Good point on the weight but I'm currently running 2 12V FLA batteries that are probably 60-65 pound each.. Having two batteries gives redundancy in case one has issues I can just take it offline and operate with diminished capacity.

Best I've found is to roll through around mid morning on a Sunday. I have made early morning drives through that weren't too heinous.

Think I'm going to go with a couple group 31 115 Ah 12V AGM batteries from Fullriver unless I find something else that makes a compelling argument otherwise.

Bowman Lake on the west side of Glacier and some of that area is less crowded, also gets you close to the delicious edibles from the bakery at Polebridge Mercantile!

There's lots of good camping along the NF of the Clearwater and plenty to explore; Washington Creek, Governor Creek, Skull Creek, Black Canyon. There's also some ways to tie in and drop down into the St Joe drainage. You might think about the Magruder Corridor as well when you're up that way...

Not a drift boater (yet) but have years in rafts/kayaks/canoes/catarafts. There's a run on the John Day that should be pretty manageable for you if you'd like a wilderness experience, the Grande Ronde as well.. The Salmon River below Riggins has some water that is frequently run by drift boats...

When living in more northerly climes the longer days meant more. Now that I've relocated to the south the solstice isn't as big a deal, overall day length doesn't vary near as much from winter to summer.
