Great write-up. Has me wanting to make a quick trip over for some bearclaws and maybe some of the huckleberry-cinnamon-beer bread, oh and Glacier is OK too ;)

With a bit of a drive up the Moki Dugway there would be some outstanding hiking.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Minnesota and Glacier National Park. Part One, Stockton to Minneapolis

Looking forward to more. I hate staying in RV parks, especially when they charge me for a full rate and I'm not using any hookups and they just don't seem to get that.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Eureka,Ca to Oregon coast

Stayed at Cape Blanco in march and it was nice other than the liquid that kept falling from the sky! Also stayed at Patricks Point and really enjoyed it though woke up to the same liquid coming from the sky. Would've like to have spent some time around Pacific City, OR but the schedule didn't...

If you are/were at 1401 N Fancher in Spokane you're within about 10 blocks of me right now. Normally I'd offer to meet for a beer when I get off work but I'm heading to Post Falls climbing with friends right after work. Check your PM's for my contact infor if you're going to be around for a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Are the factory roof screws strong enough to hold rack

years ago Yakima's default way of testing rack installs was to get it installed, grab the bars and shake, if the car moved and not the mounts the install was considered solid. This was taught in many a product clinic over the years.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Touring Kayakers and Canoeists?

Currently a 17' cedar strip canoe and a kevlar slalom kayak. Over the years more whitewater kayaks have come and gone than I care to think about, when I was actively paddling there were usually 3-4 in the garage at any time. Like skis, bikes and so many other toys the ideal number of boats...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rain noise

Be so active during the day that when nighttime rolls around I will sleep through anything. The Deschutes River used to have trains run through the canyon at night and after a couple trips I wouldn't wake up for those and they were maybe a couple hundred yards away tops.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Summertime + Fridge = 46°+

Oct. 21st-24th of course  The best thing about the tray is that with the snap-on lid water doesn't go sloshing all over the freezer if you are driving down the road while making ice.

That would be tray singular and it is just about big enough for a couple Scotch on the rocks before having to be replenished for the next day. Remembering that there should always be something for scale that is a Victorinox Super Tinker.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Last FWC trip Hwy 1/Yosemite holiday weekend

Gorgeous photos! And second what CERT said about San Simeon SP, spent a night there in March while driving south and while not my normal kind of place wasn't too bad a waypoint.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Summertime + Fridge = 46°+

Interesting. My Isotherm Cruise 65 has no problem freezing ice cubes, it even came with a little covered metal tray for making ice cubes. I have also put unfrozen steaks in there when plans changed and they froze up rock solid. I am using the same remote thermometer that Hoyden linked above...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West California to Minnesota plus Glacier NP.

Go to Polebridge Mercantile for a huckleberry bearclaw (or three) and consider spending a night or two up that way. Depending on how you go through Idaho on the way Craters of the Moon might be worth a stop. Beartooth Pass would be definite in the Tundra, not sure how much fun the drive...
