Sorry about the late reply. Just got back from Steens and Hart Mountain. They are a significant upgrade over the 140k stockers...SIGNIFICANT. That said, there might be better, but I’m very happy with these on hard ruts and washerboard.

I saw everything but. I felt like I was playing wildlife bingo and couldn't get a pronghorn to win! :D I saw multiple hawk species, bald eagle, sage grouse, coyote, big horn sheep and wild/feral horses. Pretty cool!

I was speaking of the LT too. If you do a lot of winter driving, my personal preference is to not do a tire that isn't triple peak snow flake rated unless I switch to dedicated snows in the winter. That's why I ended up with the Wildpeak.

As a reflective insulator, it's a little confusing as to what type of R you'll actually get. It depends on the air space you can create. We know reflective car window screens work to keep heat low even though their conductive R value is minimal even with minimal air space. That's heat entering...
