Those standard jack pads are cross-ribbed underneath and are as sturdy or more so than lynx-style levelers, same general type of material, inexpensive, lightweight, highly utilitarian. I can't see that a hi-lift would punch through or crack a pad, but could I be wrong? Sure, but I'd bet on it...
