Answering my own question about Android use that was posed above: By using a Firefox browser option on an Android device, it's allowing the SSL connection (https) that was being rejected by the default Chrome browser... so there ya have it, ymmv. Rico

I believe you're referring to the dispersed sites along the Piedra River just north of the Hwy 160 crossing (west of Pagosa Springs). As I recall there are several sites along the west and east banks of the river. Rough lat/lon coordinates: 37° 13.5' N and -107° 20.5' W Rico

I have a set of Brophy 24" wide steps (3-stepper), the surfaces are treated at the factory with an add-on layer reminiscent of a coarse sandpapery kind of finish. So slippery has not been among my experiences with these steps, they're great. Rico

Upper Piedra River area NNW of Pagosa Springs, I'll bet they'd enjoy the 'semi-dispersed' sites at Bridge CG and the proximity of both river and lake fishing in the area. Or if you head up the hill just west of Bridge CG there's a few truly dispersed sites for the taking. Rico

Thetford 365 in our Grandby shell for almost 6 years, two big thumbs up on its performance. We added webbing straps that hold the porta-potti securely against the camper so that it cannot tip over (but all bets are off if the camper tips over). Rico

Yep, I'd definitely do that if the cab wasn't already maxed out with food boxes and the like. Not much room leftover for other stuff.

The little Zaltana throw-out popup tent that we use for daytime gear storage in camp has given up the ghost (trashed zipper and fabric on the tent's only door), and I'm now on the prowl for a better long-term gear storage solution. Our usual Grandby sleeping arrangement is a queen config down...
