I'm having Deaver build new springs for my Tundra. My original deaver springs were for rock crawling an too thin for an upgrade. Now the hawk and my 701 can hang off the back with the airbags empty! Installed is $1000 ouch Have 1 gen tundra deavers for sale for the desert slammers

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West King Bed Upgrade size?

I agree w. Chadx I extended my hawk bed to 78"w x 79"L but you see out all 4 windows and it's a minor annoyance to close up. The plus for me is I roll around like a kid when asleep. I used a 12"x 78" extension w/ piano hinge so it gives many combinations of extensions

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 4WD trails in Wyoming's Wind River Range

I know that road can be a mud pit after a good 2 day rain event! I had my hawk/ tundra stabbed at spots trying to keep momentum up on my way out. The guy at the $.25 wash in pinedale wasn't too happy I left 150# of sticky goo in one bay. Your off road trip sounds stellar what machine did you use?

That's funny! When I ordered a couple chairs around xmas he was slammed with orders. I asked if they could be shipped by my wife's bday. His wife gave me his cell and while he was at a motorcycle rally made a call to expedite my order as well. U get what you pay for, great service

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What's your favorite camp chair?

Kermit is a bit spendy but it will be the last chair you'll buy. I took the cup holders off my strongbacks and used the existing screws in the Kermit it works better than those delicate $20 Kermit versions

There is nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it. A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the...

I think 120psi is recommended high pressure but watch your gauge when you hit a g-out an pressure spikes dramatically. A trucker buddy said they can take abt 400 psi easily

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Question for those running airbags

I have deaver springs on my Tundra but I installed them before I thought about a hawk so it is soft for max articulation after adding airbags I run about 60-70 psi to make things level The drivers side squat is there but it never seems to bother me on or off road. I have about 110,000mi on this...
