RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Arctic liner

The existing D-rings on the vinyl windows go through small slits on the Arctic liner and then the bungees attach as they did before the liner was installed.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Snow: how much is too much?

I've never seen anybody report collapsing or damage due to snow or ice build up. I have only seen posts of people worried about it. If I'm wrong, please point out the thread.

I was going to say that it will MUCH easier to sell them separately. Both should have no issue selling fast. Great camper... great truck. Best of luck!!!

+3 This is what FWC would recommend as well.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Suggestions for stapling into aluminum

FWC in recent years started putting a sealant on top of the staples to reduce chances of galvanic corrosion. I personally did not use stapes when replacing the nose piece on my FWC as they were only used to temporality hold the nose piece in place until the trim pieces with 100+ screws went...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 80s Keystone - Cutting and Sewing the Vinyl Sideliner

Nice job Jeff, I must say it looks like a lot of work and planning. I really look forward to seeing the final product installed. I'm certain there will be a huge amount of satisfaction knowing you did your own fabrication. A member posted a similar project a while back and mentioned that...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Workshop Vise

Creative thinking and a neat concept. I like that it is only 8 lbs and $25. There are plenty of vices that mount in your receiver hitch as well. Typically heavier and pricier.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cooking? I'm on VACATION!

When we travel and camp (usually to Vancouver Island), we like to visit farmers markets and purchase food from local acreages/farms. It's a great way to meet locals and support the local economy. The food is organic, fresh and healthy. Farm fresh eggs, jams, salmon, veggies etc. Often the...

Why does your camper overhang the box when it is a new build, which I assume would be made for your truck?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Top-down use: how often do you sleep in/use your FWC with the top down?

Most FWCs do not have the rear slider option and it's something that has been discontinued.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Top-down use: how often do you sleep in/use your FWC with the top down?

Ewwwww... thanks for sharing lol :) How disturbing. I bet it still effects you in your sleep once in a while. Vic. I agree, great idea. I think I'll do that to one of my turn buckle doors (rear driver side). I open it to cook quite often and admittedly I have opened it while taking a nap...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Top-down use: how often do you sleep in/use your FWC with the top down?

That's a scary story. So glad your alarm worked and woke you. I'm a big advocate of sleeping with a window open. I was just camping at -13F with a wind chill on top of that and I slept with a window a 1/4 way open. I try to open the passenger side window to lessen the chance of CO gas from...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Top-down use: how often do you sleep in/use your FWC with the top down?

Myself as well. Just the odd nap. No front dinette... rollover couch. The time I find myself doing this the most is when driving around town on a Sat or Sunday afternoon shopping. I don't want to go home. Having a 15 minute nap is nice. It's kind of fun to go back there and relax, while...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Plasti Dip Roof?

Had to laugh at the video, not due to the quality of the product, but the fact that they said they will come to you to install it... even in the campground you are staying in. Wouldn't that be something if your neighbour was getting their RV roof coated right next to where you are camping :)

Take a look at RAM mounts. https://www.rammount.com/brand/apple/ipad-mounts#wizard I worked in Apple sales for 5 years. My coworker ordered enough parts for a client to accommodate using it in a hospital bed. Ram Mounts tech support was helpful in coming up with a solution. They should be...

I have the same issue. I have a 75W inverter just for charging the DSLR battery. It would be nice to have a USB option. I currently use USB in the camper to charge. iPhone, iPad, Nitecore flashlight, Monster Bluetooth speaker.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Porch Light

I was thinking of lumens in relation to how bright a 1000 lumen flash light is (which is extremely bright). I don't know how lumens is rated relative to the width of the light emitted ie. flood light vs. spot light. So with that being said... I haven't a clue.
