RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Western Great Basin - October 2020

I've been to Glass Mountain near Medicine Lake Ca and haven't heard of this one. Another place to add to the list. What an awesome camping spot overlooking Fish Lake Valley. That feral horse looks pretty fat and sassy!!

Fantastic fall color pics!! We were there a few days before you and between not feeling 100% and the altitude I could only hike 3-4 miles so your photos showed me all that I missed. Thanks!!

Thanks Ski- saw several FWC and ATCs on this trip. Although crowded out there for this time of the year, people were quiet and respectful!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Montana

Beautiful shot of Lake McDonald!! My wife and I were going to go to Glacier and Waterton at this time but decided against it thinking it would be too crowded and not knowing if we could cross the border. I've read that some folks are crossing the border for "essential travel" but are clearly not...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ATC Manx Flatbed Camper: 2nd Generation

Nice layout and build. I asked Marty if he would build a longer cabover when I ordered my Panther shell last May and he said no. Would have been nice!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Camper Vacuum/Power tools

I'm in the small broom camp. I place a 3x5 carpet in front of my Little Giant steps that picks up most of the dirt/debris before entering my camper. I have a cordless Dewalt vac at home and it screams like a f15. If you used one camped near anyone people will not be happy!!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Newbie with questions about purchasing a FWC.

I seldom go anywhere between June-Sept so I leave my ATC off. Sept through Thanksgiving I leave the camper off unless I'm not going anywhere for a couple of weeks. I'll do a few winter trips Dec-March so the camper is off and on as needed. April- May is the same as Sept- end of Nov. My '19...

Thanks Frank!! There were 3 Tacoma/Eagles camped near us at Baker Creek. Shared a glass of wine with one of the owners and her dog. Also tried to assist a fellow wanderer on the side of Hwy 50 halfway between Ely and Austin as we were heading out to Spencer Hot Sps. He was off the shoulder at a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Nevada & Fall Color

Recent trip into Nevada primarily south of Hwy 50 to Great Basin. I'd been to GBNP several times in early spring but the road to Wheeler Peak was always closed due to snow. The fall colors were just about at their peak. This trip included exploring the area between Gabbs Valley and Big Smoky...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West how to access spare tire

Is the problem the oem lowering rod crank hits the tailgate? I have a 2019 Tundra and I attach a 1/2" deep 12 pt socket that fits the 4 pt end of the lowering rod and attach it to a cordless drill to crank up and down. Maybe the problem is totally something else?? Yes, attaching the hook end of...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Falcon Rebuild - Heater Options

The propane tank compartment is above the furnace just below the 2 burner stove. It is a factory corner cabinet/stove option. The cabinet is not vented to the exterior other than the exhaust gas hookup to the flue fitting.
