I picked up a remnant of Berber carpet for $25.00 and cut it to fit wall to wall. It just lays in there and and lift's out for cleaning. I throw it on the driveway and pressure wash it about once a year. Works great, and like everyone says, nice to have a warm floor in the winter.

Charlie, Nice image. All of my images were heavily cropped as they were pretty far away. Consumnes has a couple walkways and that's all. If the birds are on the opposite side of the ponds you're out of luck..

Funny you should ask, none at Yolo yesterday, but I just returned from the Consumes Reserve about 20 minutes ago (11:00 am). I'll post some Sandhill pictures after I go through them .

The Sandhill's have already arrived at the Consumnes River Preserve just south of Sacramento.
