I also had cracks appearing at the corners of the door on my Grandby. I had the guys at ATC pull the rear skin and check the cause. They repaired two broken welds in the rear wall and did some reinforcing so it shouldn't happen again, re-skinned it and good as new..

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West RealTree accent rug

I picked up a remnant of Berber carpet for $25.00 and cut it to fit wall to wall. It just lays in there and and lift's out for cleaning. I throw it on the driveway and pressure wash it about once a year. Works great, and like everyone says, nice to have a warm floor in the winter.

Andy, for Sandhills, along with the Consumnes preserve, take a look at the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve which is several miles south of Consumnes. Catch Woodbridge in the evening when they fly back to roost as the viewing area is on the north side and you're not looking directly into the sun...

Charlie, Nice image. All of my images were heavily cropped as they were pretty far away. Consumnes has a couple walkways and that's all. If the birds are on the opposite side of the ponds you're out of luck..

Thanks guys. I wish one could get closer to them, but they're very skittish. Start moving in and they let out their horrible squak and take off. That's why everything is shot at 500mm, and that's about as short as useable on the cranes. Frank, I don't think theirs anything beautiful about a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Inverter Cable Length

I have a 1.5 KW inverter in my Grandby. It's mounted in the battery compartment which has 2 group 31's in parallel. I used 2/0 welding cable for the inverter runs of about 2 feet (I had the cable). No measurable loss with that length. I routed the 110VAC to the power panel and added a transfer...
