After the A Hill's Dillon and I headed to Mammoth and June Lake for a little sking.

Thought I would up-date you on my XPCamper and its first shakedown trip. As I stated months ago, I purchased Marc's prototype XP 1.1. Since then, LR1 as it is known to me, has gone through a transformation, with a new molded interior as well as a new door system. All and all I am pretty happy...

So I'm guessing Marc's silence should tell us that he is out using his new camper? I wish. Slaving away @ work. Still have some finish work to do, but will be making the Dog's and mines annual pilgrimage to Jalama in March for our B-days. See if you , Jessica and Gunner can make it. Oh ya...

Looks good! For comparison. When I talked to the guys they were saying about $2600-2700 plus tax for me to pick up the bed from their shipping dock, install it myself, and buy/install the tail light myself. So lets see some shots of the bed so I can see what's the installation requirements...

Sounds like a good idea to have some towel racks for my outside kitchen :) Since when do U cook ??? :D Oh yah, U did cook that gourmet breakfest for Camel Racer and I when we were in NV, corn beef hash out of a box. :) marc

Is that the same bumper? Dude, looks good. Just ditch the towel racks on the sides. And yes, that is Aaron's stock bumper.

I hear you, I've enjoyed the ones I put in my hawk. Actually he's right since you said you need to modify the mounts, thus the factory bed he offers doesn't accept a drawer. No different than a truck manufacturer saying X size tire doesn't fit when it doesn't fit unless you put a lift kit...

If that is the case i will be stoked! I did order the UTE. The guy told me the rear drawer won't fit on the shortbed model i ordered. DD he is wrong. With a little modifacation to the mounts it is dueable, he said the same thing about mine. Also, why not go with a longer bed, it would work...

Flat beds have all the functionality of a regular pickup bed and more. You can attach walls, cargo boxes, utility racks, all kinds of accessories. The US version of the pickup is more about aesthetics than anything. I think flatbeds look cool B)
