RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Neowise Comet

Sorry I haven't chimed in lately, with everything going. I've been laying low since the National Parks are close. But recently, being a New Mexico native, took a trip from Decatur TX to get a shot at the Neowise comet to share.

The drawer slides are Richelieu 2-Pack 16-in Self-Closing Drawer Slide from Lowe's. They are great, spring loaded and provide a good amount of resistance to open so they won't open on the road even the roughest roads. At about two inches from closing the spring engages and automatically pulls...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Building Our New Camper

Ski, Great build documentation, its very helpful. I'm still analyzing it. Hope it's more fun using it than making it. Working on my build and it's a nightmare. Every time I cut into the shell it hurts. Hopefully I don't mess it up too much. Yours looks great, very clean. Carl.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West For Sale 2015 Bobcat 2013 Tacoma *SOLD*

Brenda, Sorry to hear. It's difficult getting in and out without good steps, climbing up into the bunk. My wife also had latteral damage to her knee, and only travels with me on occasion. Maybe something like a ladder could be a solution. Well, we are all getting older and less adaptive...

The kit is exactly what I was looking at. The compressor is similar to the one I have. Above 40 psi it get really hot, add some wet cloths on it . But 30 to 40 psi is good enought to go. Saw a youtub viedo using a similar kit, you know if you are stuck and looking a a 100 mile towing survice...

So has any one got experience with emergency tire repair. Two years ago I came across 6 co-eds in an Honda pick-up with 3 flat tires on the road to White Mountain in CA. Then last year a guy was asking to buy anyone's spare tire that would fit in Big Bend NP. I have a nice 50psi 12V...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Some different heater options

Not sure of anything, just putting it out there. Maybe you could make a telescoping flue out of 1" and 1.5" conduit. I know there are some issues using galvanized pipe for flue pipe, but you can burn and oxidize the zinc and make it safe. Think I might just start out my making a shelf for my...

I'm getting a shell so starting out from a new pallett. The Dickerson Newport Marine Newport P9000 is another option. It is complletely inclosed. Uses about 1 lb of propane in 5 to 7 hr. I'm thinking about centering in in the cabinets at the 12" level with a side dinette, and venting it...

OK, I think I looked at all the options, and for the money went with another 78" ATC Ocelot shell. I'm thinking about eventually building it into a complete camper with the side dinette. ATC is going to offset the door 6" to the driver side which will make more room for the side dinette...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Dometic electric cooler for Fleet shell?

I am looking at the TruckFridge TF49AC/DC. It is a cabinet mounting fridge with a front opening door 20.5" h x 15" wide x 18" deep. I think it is narrower than other brands. I am considering putting it in the same location ATC mounts their fridge for the Panther model.
