i would put another piece of ply over the floor area, to give you a bit more plywood to screw into. you could even glue this down to increase the strength of the floor, in that area.

going from a 2007 vehicle to a newer one, is a big step up in automotive world. i was using my folks old camry as a city driver, and moved up to a 2019 suv. sheesh !!

I am doing some electrical and shelf/cabinet work in the camper, and thinking i might like some additional task lighting or ?? for the interior. i currently just have the oem ATC lights, which are fine. oh, and since i will be messing with wiring, i thought i might add a fan to exhaust hot air...

Pretty good chance that my gal and i will be making our first baja trip after thxgiving. back by christmas. check out prior posts. occidental went last year for their first trip, and had an excellent time.

did u look into rotopax? and, what bracket did u use??

i am surprised that they are not getting into the camper. the hold down bracket doors are relatively flimsy in my ATC i may need to run a screw thru when parked/stored.

nice report. sounds like a great area. i definitely like the tractor launch. for years i towed a boat with a grand cherokee, etc. always able to look straight out the back window. this past week, launching my driftboat with my ATC, i looked like a total newbie. sheesh. keep the posts coming
