i ran across almost same mess up the north fork of john day a month ago. they did keep the entire mess piled into firepit. i keep gloves in truck for this cleanup. i didnt break down the fire ring though. i was trying to get out, and had 5 hr drive in front of me. next time.

i put 2 100 watt panels on roof with the thought that with more surface area, i would have better luck catching the sun's rays while camping in the woods with shade.

myself, i would go lithium. if u stay with agm, i would purchase from local FWC dealer, and have them evaluate your setup, and see what they recommend. they could install a controller, shunt , etc., for not too much $. u can then spend your time and effort on operating and monitoring system...
