Think you nailed it on the head. I was taking the pics literally, not considering looking at 2 6v as one battery in the pic. Thankfully just a matter of swapping the negatives so shouldn’t be a prob. I’ll do that after work today. appreciate the advice and your help!

Yeah that’s definitely different than what I had, I was going off the second diagram that I had posted initially. Looks like I will be redoing some stuff this evening.

Tomorrow I have a shorter RJ12 coming and maybe that can rule out the factory rj12 being bad.

Haha. Well, I did go out there and removed B2, but I still get no display;(.

Oh! But the diagram has both batteries wired up incl from Td to B2. I’ll give that a shot though tonight, should be easy.

I also struggled a little with the thin positives going into the shunt. I wonder if they’re not seated all the way. Really was difficult mounting the shunt in an accessible spot.

I’ll take some pics in the morning to show what’s what currently. Before I change any of the wiring though I’m going to try a shorter RJ12 cable to see if that wakes up the display. If that doesn’t do the trick I’ll try connecting the wires without the little fuse first to see if that does...

Whelp. I wired it all up and the display doesn’t want to turn on. It appears to be reading a voltage at the power cables into the shunt but can’t get the display to turn on. Checked the fuses too and they seem alright. Any ideas?

For the record, I was able to find that it is in fact an Overland Solar Panel on the roof. Had a nice little pillar I was able to climb on to be sure.

Ok so finally got into my battery compartment today. I’ve got two USAgm 2224 deep cycle 6 volts. https://www.usbattery.com/products/us-agm-batteries/us-agm-2224/ Does this mean I’ve got 224 AHs of use available to me assuming I don’t go below 50% and I’m not charging the battery at all?
