RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ***SOLD*** RC Pilot Jim is selling his 1988 Suzuki Samurai - $ 6,500 obo

Thanks all for the kind comments. Now I'm researching " electric bicycles". Farmer Fred brought one to the hot springs over Presidents day. Haven't read his feedback yet. He has a receiver on the front of his truck (as do I) to keep the gears out of the dust. Yesterday I rented a "Pedego" made...

All You should be receiving your tax money back about now, so its time to start considering a small "tow-behind" for your camper or motorhome with 4WD off road capability for use when base camping. And I will deliver it if you pay expenses.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ((Eagle/Fleet)) - Shell Amateur Build

Hi Squatch, I re-read the "Trimetric" paragraph on "Equalizing". "...recommended for 'liquid electrolyte batteries' ...(but often not the gel or AGM types). It also refers to "Section 7" which is information on how to NOT kill your batteries. I re-read that section and believe I understand it...

Friend Terry and I just returned from our annual 9 day trip to the beautiful Saline Valley hot Springs. Weather for the first 6.5 days was beautiful. Temps 45* Low - 85* high and no wind. Well no wind till Saturday the 10th at 3 pm. Than it started blowing 40 mph gusting to 50 for the next 26...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ordering, tomorrow! 2nd battery option?

If you are young and your back is in good shape you can live with ice chest. As you age those 60 pound ice chests are going to get heavy. Eventually you will purchase a compressor fridge. Ordering your shell pre-wired for two solar plugs and two 12 volts ports will save you money in the future...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Shell Electrical System

Shell vs Full Camper A auto mobile electronics shop (sells and installs alarm systems) can install whatever you can't do yourself. I used one to install the Trimetric battery monitor. Not getting all the items that make up a complete electrical system is not bad as most shell purchasers only...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Shell Owners- 12V fridge or nice ice cooler

We use side opening Engle MR040 compressor portable fridge and 150 watt solar on roof and carry a medium size "Playmate" drink cooler when ice is available. At almost age 74 my body can't lift full ice chests. We leave the Engle in the shell full time. Works great for us.

The good news with Four Wheel Camper is resale value. A $20,000 camper , Well taken care of and kept for 10 years will probably resell at 50% of new purchase or $10,000. Buy basic options in your standard camper. If you buy the 3 way fridge you won't need two batteries or the 160 watt solar...
