I've only seen them out when they have a herd nearby. I'm guessing that they belong to certain people, although they may share them amongst their community. You'll see them all over N. NV.

What an awesome trip! I guess these parks see their busiest times during the shoulder seasons. At least you were successful in dodging the crowds for the most part. I got a little case of acrophobia just seeing you dangle over the edge there.

I lived all over the state, but Santa Fe was my favorite place. I HAVE to make run to Maria's, Horseman's Haven, Cloud Cliff and Tecolote in Santa Fe and a run to Gabriel's in Pojoaque. I eat my way through the state every time I'm there.
