I saw a thread like this last year and so I kept track of my trips this year. I thought it was fun to see everyone's year end tallies. I did 22 nights in 2015 and I'm going to try and bump that up to at least 30 in 2016.

When I was a kid, 6 of us spent a week and half in a truck camper while on a road trip to Disneyland. We had a blast, but it was tight indeed. I don't remember being too cramped, I just remember the great time we had and I think your kids will probably remember the adventure most of all...

I took this from the Internet, but this works well for me and there is some storage on the floorboards, etc. I also made this little bag I call the "Pooperoo" (a play on the "Trasheroo") as a place to temporarily stow my poop-filled bags. I've never seen a bag invented or a knot tied tight...

Very nice trip report and beautiful photography. I really like exploring that area and you're right, it's hard to pass up a soak when you're so close to nice hot spring.

Let me first say that I am NOT a gourmet and I like to go very simple when I'm camping, but the other day I heard about a simple "One Pot Pasta" dish on NPR. I think it'd be great for camping and I though I'd share it here.

To pass up a soak in a wild hot spring is sacrilege to me too, but sometimes they're just too crowded and I guess I'd rather pass them up than go for a soak and have a miserable time. I loved your pics of the canyons and pour overs; boy, I'd like to see them in action after a good desert rain...

I think some volunteers repaired the one washout that I went through. They were even considerate enough to place warning cones on both ends of the washout in case it was too dark to see. When I went, I had two back-up plans in case the road was impassable: 1. Benton Hot Springs 2. Keough Hot...

I know what you mean, $750.00 for a little shade is steep. For my next project, I'm going to use a rail (below) and try to come up with a way I can use a tarp or a sheet of nylon to improvise an awning. If I'm successful, I'll post the results, if I'm not successful I'll hide in shame...
