One big thing that I like about a manual trans is when climbing mountains, YOU get to pick the gear and the trans doesn't hunt for the right gear. With my auto tranny on the Ford you put it in any gear you want...manually....so I guess it's like a manual tranny in that regard. Also...my truck...

I've had manual transmission 4X4's my entire life until the last two vehicles. I am now a big auto tranny fan. Getting old I guess.

I prefer the furnace. It heats quickly and can be run by a thermostadt so I can program the heat to come on 1/2 hour before I get up. I don't sleep with anything on....just a couple of vents open.

I like that volt meter. I will be adding one. It became kind of redundant after adding the solar system since the remote meter displays the same information (plus a lot more)...

I would actually prefer a little bit of "soft side" if it meant that the entire roof would move upward providing a full level roof as opposed to the current slanted design. The slanted design always seemed so cramped to me on other rigs (vans).

With a little research you can put together a solar system cheaper than FWC charges. If you are not handy at wiring then you should just get the factory installed system. I like the solar system as it is handy under the right conditions. The Waeco DC refrigerator should not impact my...
