    Lagun Cockpit Table

The Lagun Table mount is the single best thing I've done to my camper.....and I've done quite a bit. Get one....you won't regret it. You'll love the flexability it gives you especially since you are spending so much time in your camper now. Just DO IT!

    life change and a FWC?

I have taken many one month or greater trips (the longest being 2 months) in my FWC and agree with UglyScout....bigger is better. The smaller trucks just don't have the room or capacity for loading on long trips.

    Advise?

A good fish tale: Alaska (where life is tough and humor is dark): The day after his wife disappeared in a kayaking accident, an Anchorage man answered his door to find two grim-faced Alaska State Troopers. "We're sorry Mr. Wilkens, but we have some information about your wife," said one...

    XPCamper V2- Concept

I get up to Nevada City a couple of times a year. On my next visit I'll have to stop by and see Marc's campers in person. They sound awesome.

    XPCamper V2- Concept

The curve looks nice, I have the 465E that it is replacing. It will hold 5.5 gal of waste this will weigh about 50#'s. I let mine get full one time it is too heavy full, I now dump earlier. That said it works great and I like the height and elec pump. The site says had optional hold down kit...

The latest improvement on the Four Wheel Pop-up Campers is ...

STOP IT! Mine is being built, I haven't even got it yet and it's already outdated? New tables, maybe, new lift panels, new fabric....Stan is the Man, but you're killing me! Yeah....it's the same way with computers, tv's and cameras. By the time you get it home it's obsolete.

What was the issue just using the metal handle? When backing out of the door.....I was always pushing on the screen. Once the door was all the way open and I was inside.....it's very difficult to reach the metal handle.

    Outside shower using existing pump?

That is the one I have been considering also. One problem though, not having been in the Navy, can one actually take a shower with 2 gallons of water? A wife? Also, I couldn't see what the capacity was on the Zodi, 2 gallons also? I like the Duckworks though, especially the price. Has anyone...

    Outside shower using existing pump?

Someone posted up this shower a while back and I think I'm just going to go this route. Let solar work on the sunny days, warm some water on the stove and pour it in on the others. Few pumps and you're showering w/o trying to rig up a pump/plumbing...

    Outside shower using existing pump?

I'm now thinking I will get a little 12v transfer pump, stick in under the external cover where the fridge used to be, run a hose to the extra water container I carry on the rear bumper, and the outlet can be for the shower or to transfer H2O to the camper tank. Let us know about the 12v...

    Outside shower using existing pump?

I had one of those Zodi showers with the electric pumps...what a pain. I replaced it with a Zodi Extreme (bug sprayer type) and it is the picture of simplicity. You wouldn't even need to get the burner as you already have a stove. Works like a charm. Most of the time I use the FWC external...

Tired of opening your camper door by having to push on the screen doors screen section (potentially bowing out the screen)? Tired of not having a handy way to pull the door closed? Here's a cheap solution for $12 bucks or so, an easy to install cross bar for the screen door...

    Favorite interior fabric?

When I ordered my Hawk I got the tan colored upholstery. It showed every little bit of dirt. I had FWC reupholster it in Deer Valley Apache....it hides everything. The only way to go for me.

First Aid, what to carry, when does it expire?

I'm thinking of adding a SAM splint to the first aid kit. Does anyone have experience with them? Thank you for this information. Two years ago while hunting on a steep mountainside....my son slipped and broke his leg. We were able to fashion a splint out of natural materials and get him off...

First Aid, what to carry, when does it expire?

Any recommendations about which is more versatile - the granules or the gauze roll or pad? I carry the granules since you can simply pour it in the wound and apply pressure.

Carry some Celox. It stop bleeding....even from a severed femoral artery. http://www.celoxmedical.com/ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004NG8V1M/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0032UY9BQ&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0BWJJT2BRWY1XP9HSZ9C

    New FWC interior

I like the basic design...but that wobbly table has to be improved. I had that table set up....put my laptop on it and the table snapped off of the pedistal. I've since gone to a bullet proof (although expensive) table mount and it is now very sturdy.

    Ordered my new Raven today

A word of caution. I did exactly the same thing. I used shorter bolts to get my 465 to fit. I really pound washboard roads and take many bad jeep trails. After a while the top of the porta potti gets "road rash" from the shortened bolts. No big deal for me....but if the wife unit wants it...

My new Raven just arrived and is being installed

Great idea. And you can set it to turn down the temp after bed time. Just need to remember to replace the batteries. Don't know if I want that much automation. I can easilly reach the lever from the bed and turn it on when I want it. That way I don't have the heater waking me up if I choose...
