I cannot see a brand on it....don't know how to post an image. Brenda at FWC would know if they out source it or have it made for them on contract. I have too little exposure to other brand campers to know if it is widely used. DG

Howdy How about an old fashioned Jerry can and holder...bolt it to the side of your truck bed ? Only need it when you go remote....remove the can and fuel when you don't need it.

Howdy Have you asked yourself why you need an extra few gallons of fuel ? A small amount of planning might allow for filling the truck tank more often.... I understand the notion of using all available space....but suggest adding soft outdoor gear to the cab of the truck... ( PFD's. ground...

Oh boy, life is a compromise. We used a Klepper double for many years including some lake camping portage trips....all good. Later bought two Klepper singles and they were excellent boats...BUT....a lot more frustrating to assemble..... I feel really stupid with this whole discussion as I own...

As regards the Tuctec folding kayaks, at least one online in water review had problems with the kayak unfolding at some of its closure points..... I learned a long time ago there is no such thing as a free lunch. The Oru designs seem to work better....but their price point buys a better...

Sitting on a leaf.....I just can't do that but then we get lots of wind and etc. I guess they and the Tucktec design are innovative and would do in a pinch.... Anyone here actually paddled one of these for more tan and hour ? I would love to hear comments.

Good Topic here Another time we have had to sleep top down was in some severe weather ....hunkered down in lee of an old school house and made the best of it. It is a good idea to understand how you could sleep if you get a weather surprise....in our case it was gusts to 70. David Graves

Hi Vic Our Grandby does not have Yakima tracks and this is a one time trip. I did carry our 70 lb. Old Town wood canvas once on the Hawk and it was just too much to lift.....particularly for this trip where we will be in and out of the water and several back country lakes...perhaps the Sayward...
