<< measurement between the camper jacks on the Fleet Model >> Approx. 78" You will need to add a set of the Aluminum Extension Plates for the front camper jacks, if you are putting the Fleet Model on a 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra Access Cab. Easy. << measurement at the front of the camper from...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Is this 2017 FWC fleet worth the sellers firm price of $21,000?

That is a great deal. That camper new today would be $35,000 - $40,000. Great way to save $20K and get a camper that is only 5 years old.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2020 Granby- easiest way to get into area below sink?

I've always used my cell phone to look in there for items. Turn on the phone camera, turn on the flashlight feature, and hit video record. Move the phone around in there recording, and then watch the short video clip. Works well. No special snake camera needed.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Will a hawk model fit in a long bed truck

Hawk Model will work on a long bed truck, but the camper will usually NOT push all the way forward against the front of the truck bed. The camper base will usually hit the wheel well humps in the truck bed, before it touches the front of the truck bed. We usually put a spacer in front of the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Won't rotate tires with camper on?

I have seen a picture a truck & FWC that fell off a shop lift while getting serviced. I can't post it, because I'm not sure the owner would want that. But I heard that it bent the frame of the truck, and they had to cash him out on the cost of the truck. So I can sort of see why they might be...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC staff member having a bad day in 2015?

@busboy66 All kidding aside, I did forward the message to our production manager. It's been a long time since your camper was built, but I try and forward these types of posts on to them, so they are aware of the customers experiences. And hopefully we get batter as a company. Tks

I think that shop worker only did that on campers for Canadian customers. :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fiamma 45 Awning installation

I don't think we through-bolt the Fiamma awnings on the side of the camper. At least not on a Fleet Shell Model. Probably through-bolted only on our flatbed Models. We just use the aluminum mounting brackets provided by Fiamma, and screw those brackets into the exterior siding / framing on...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar Controller Clicking

Anything is possible. Are you sure it is not your battery separator ? That is the most common item I see on a regular basis that display those same symptoms. (clicking every 10 or 20 seconds) If that is what is actually clicking, charge up your camper batteries overnight with a portable...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hawk on Tundra Help!

I asked around in the shop for advice. They said you would need to grind off most of the spray-on bed liner in the tail gate opening area. This will give you the needed clearance. Worst case, you might also need to remove a few of the trim screws or the 2 small bolts for the battery straps...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West No welds on my FWC

Looks like an aftermarket repair by a customer? The FWC factory will always weld the camper frame when making a new camper, or repairing an old one. They won't use "L Brackets" like what is seen in the photo. At least not that I'm aware of. The attached pics are really small, so I can't get a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Electrical system troubleshooting and upgrade advice

Not a factory reply, but just a personal thought on what might (might?) be an easy solution. Those battery separators will never make a connection, or at least not for long, once the camper battery is drained down. Until the camper battery is sufficiently charged back up, the separator will...
