    Question on replacing Battery Separator

I also had to ditch the Sure Power separator because of the switch to Lithium battery. In fact I had to also ditch my solar charge controller and my Iota Power converter. I ended up with a combo unit from Renogy. It does trickle charge the truck battery when the camper battery is fully...

    Adequate Hawk Install?

Looks like you have room for more backing. Remember you can have multiple plates stacked and the bolt hole does not have to go through the center. For example you can have a larger section of sheet that is formed to shape to match the underside contour. Then some smaller plates below and...

That upgraded wire from the camper to the truck came in handy

Understood. I have a Renogy DC-DC w/MPPT unit so it is probably the MPPT periodically charging the truck starting battery. I don't know the logic but I have seen the light illuminated a couple times.

That upgraded wire from the camper to the truck came in handy

Is the switch that you throw part of the battery separator or a similar device? I have 6-gauge wire from the truck to camper and I’ve replaced the battery separator with a DC DC charger. I’m pretty sure the DC DC charger will put a charge to the truck battery I’m not sure if it would be...

Wind deflectors and Aero mods for fuel economy.

I made one for my previous rig (F150 + 2006 Hawk) because the gap between the top of cab and camper seemed too much. My current rig has a smaller gap and I use the windshield as a deflector. Works pretty good at subsonic speeds.

    Firestone vs Airlift airbags

I have on board air for my ARB differential locker and for airing up tires. I've never used it to fill the air bags back when I had air bags (I recently ditched air bags for custom leaf spring pack). When I had air bags, I would fill them at home to the desired pressure before heading out on a...

Two night getaway to the North Coast Mattole Road

Glass Beach. Story I heard was that a nearby old time landfill was so close to shore that it was breached and the glass fragments are transported to the beach by the current/waves.

    weight distribution and air bags?

This! I had assumed that the OP was asking about redistributing the heavy items in the camper from drivers side to passenger side. I would say go for it where reasonably possible. A 2-inch lean is a lot and sounds like weak leaf springs.

    Ford F-350 suspension modification?

If your truck is kinda new then add-a-leafs and/or air bags are often discussed. If your truck is older I noticed that the oem leaf pack starts to flatten and lose capacity. In that case I would consider brand new spring packs which you could spec for your loaded weight and be done with it.

Powering Marker Lights with an Isolated Ground System

Today I was planning to replace the factory negative battery bus (distribution block) with a larger unit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RRYD6J3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I took a quick look last night and the factory negative bus appears to be electrically connected...
