Thank you Monte and Craig. Craig, a hanger for the mirror was offered but we already have one from using our annual passes.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Provan Tiger Bengal Camper

Thanks for the update. We are right on two years with our Tiger. Not quite logging as much time as you but not doing bad - 29k miles in those two years. We also are very happy with ours. Our air compressor failed but Jay from Provan was road tripping across the U.S. doing repairs. We were...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West To buy or not to buy

What year truck will you be putting this on? Back when this camper was built truck beds had straight walls. Now they curve around so the tailgate is narrower. So if you have a newer truck, you may need to make the whole floor section of the camper narrower.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West It’s Spring

It actually is not that bad in our neck of the woods today. Sunny and we will be in the 60s. Last March we had 22 days in the 70s and 80s. this March we hit 70 one day. We are all tired of it, but it sure is nice to have some water again.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Homebound in the Sierra Nevada

Whoever came up with the saying "A job well done need never be done again" apparently did not live in snow country. It will be interesting to see a photo later this week after four days straight of heavy rain.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Front roof lift helper

Could you remove the stock push/pull board with a pipe floor flange and threaded piece of pipe? Then simply unscrew the pipe and set it a side while the roof is in the up position?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Trouble Lowering Roof

The weight of the camper top by itself is usually enough to lower it. You do have the door open when lowering the top, correct? Were you able to lower it prior to installing the struts? If so, remove the front struts so you can lower it and definitely get the speaker stand for raising it...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hodakaguy's 4wd Sprinter Build - Pic Heavy!

Craig, everything on this van is out of our budget. And that is on top of not having the tools or skills shown throughout this build.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Monday Checklist

I'm enjoying my morning ritual of checking out WTW and reading this thread about coffee... as I enjoy my morning Diet Coke. Excuse me as I head for the bomb shelter.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Conversion of Canvas top to Hard walls

I believe Alaskan campers are hard sided popups. You could check them out for inspiration. Otherwise, I would consider just selling the FWC and buying a used hard sided camper. The FWCs hold their value well, so you could probably sell it for more than what a hard sided camper of similar age...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Northern Elephant Seals

Phil, Glad I could bring back some memories for you. I was a recreation diver and have been fortunate to see white tip sharks, sea lions, and manta rays while diving. But this was always in the daytime, warm water, and good visibility. But diving among what is essentially a swimming SUV along...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Northern Elephant Seals

Thanks for the kudos on doing a report again, guys. Frank, we did visit Ano Nuevo many years ago. As I recall, there are not any places to camp nearby, making it easier to do a multiple day visit to this colony. BTW, hope you are staying high and dry as part of the new "island" off of...

PART 4 – Back at camp. Returning to camp we decided to stop at the beach across from camp to see how the high surf had affected it. The dunes mention and the structures shown in Part 1 were gone. Instead the surf had scoured the beach, flattening everything and piling debris against the raised...

PART 3 – Nature’s Fury WARNING: This section depicts the effects of a storm and high surf on the rookery. You may wish to skip it. Wednesday night there was quite a storm. Our campsite was well protected but still our Tiger rocked in the wind and rain beat against it. It was high tide as we...
