RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West More Vandalism of Ancient Rock Art

After reading the responses, and yes realizing my thoughts were not going to help the situation. I came to the conclusion that, some people just do stupid things. Why, i have no idea. For now, i will try harder to clean up more while i am out and about. w

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West More Vandalism of Ancient Rock Art

I pray to all that is sacred i never witness this stupidity. What is wrong with people? I would love to see them get life in prison for this, another place that will be ruined for the rest of our lives and beyond. And then, the over-reacting fools on the other side will ban the rest of us from...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Baja Camping Trip

Brian, As far as groups go, different strokes i guess. We went with another couple, they were pulling a bumper tow camper. Very limiting at times as far as where they could go. Hard to direct you to more dispersed areas, not knowing the vehicle capabilities. Again, just do some research on the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Baja Camping Trip

Hi, I will see if i can help. First thing i recommend grabbing the Baja California Atlas. And then decide where you want to stay. We stayed at Pete's Camp Great easy way to ease into things, food is good, camping is reasonable and all of the rigs in your party should be fine. Lots of other...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Vinyl wrap

Hi, My entire camper is wrapped, closely matches my truck. 3m is the brand. Had it done locally (Bozeman, MT). Has been wrapped all but one month of its 5 years. The driver side was replaced this past year, and the front facing section over the cab twice. Not super expensive to maintain. I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ancient Rock Art Vandalized in National Park

What kills me is, when they do catch the wastes of oxygen; the courts give them slaps on the wrist. The creepy tings idiot, the morons that walked through grand prismatic in Ystone. Penalties need to be severe. As an owner of public lands, this is infuriating.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Tires Needed

I have run the coopers on several trucks for years. I have never ran one tire that i liked more. I use them year round on an f250, snow, sand trails. Had my first pop-up on this truck, feel the tires performed well. I also run them on my current camper/truck combo for winter driving. They work...

I have watched most, if not all of the videos from Dana. Seems to be a great guy, knows his stuff. Shared some back and forth DM's about the areas in some of his video's last year. I do my best to always practice these points. Sadly, too many others don't. Thanks for posting. w

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Odd, marker lights won't turn off.

Think i found the culprit, too much moisture/grit at both plug connections. Cleaned, dried and all back to normal. Will most likely remove in heavy downpours while driving from now on. Am changing battery setup in the coming weeks so will not be an issue much longer. Thanks for the help! Happy...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wheel (rim) Size Question

My 2 cents, go down to 18 inch wheels, i feel this is a good overall fit with 35 inch tires. Looking for a sweet spot with sidewall. Of course this can increase body roll/sway. I went the hellwig swaybar route, and added stabilloads also. My leaf pack was made for my truck, so has progressive...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Odd, marker lights won't turn off.

Well, Spoke with Jeff at ATC, they always answer. He was surprised at what i described. I took off the pigtail that connects the battery box under the flatbed to the camper. Lights went out, checked the connections and both were soaked. Not surprised with the rain we were/are having. All...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Odd, marker lights won't turn off.

Thanks for the quick replies, got them to go out by disconnecting my battery box(under the flatbed) and the camper. I wasn't aware that the exterior camper lights (marker Lights) were powered by the camper batteries. Will call the boys at ATC here shortly.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Odd, marker lights won't turn off.

Hi, Just got back from a very wet trip to the Oregon coast. Just noticed my marker lights on the ATC are on, went out to turn the truck lights off and found the truck lights are off, but the camper lights are on. Lack of sleep is making me draw a blank here. Any ideas? I tried disconnecting the...

J Hanson, Thank you for a great article. Like some people, i have had to start with cheaper options, and work my way up to better and costlier alternative jack options. RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Well... I did it... time to upgrade to a flatbed and new truck.

Congrats! I prefer flatbeds both for work trucks and for my camper setup. Spendy though, i was told by the company that made my camper bed that it would cost 33% more this time around. A local company in MT quoted me similar numbers also. Custom work will kill you on $$$. i have a AEV/Gladiator...
