Chris is one of the best business men I have ever dealt with! When I picked my Hawk up, his facility was FULL of other units. There wasn't room for another camper in the place and its a big space. This tells me he's moving inventory like mad. When one moves inventory, you're doing everything right.

Thetford makes a custom clip-in base for the Curve. I have it and its perfect for a FWC application.

I'll say this; if 50#'s makes so much as a difference in your travels, you might want to reconsider your platform. That being said, buy what looks best to you because there's not a dimes difference in insulation. Any damage that requires repair is going to be a p.i.t.a. no matter what.

Fabbed an Ac air diverter out of some scrap plastic. Shaped with a heat gun and adhered with 3M double sided tape. Ac would blow up against cab of truck instead of toward sleeping area. Makes a significant difference.

Are your awning stakes always in the wrong place, mucking' things up, getting your FWC dirty & rattling? That's nothing a two inch wide pvc pipe and two 2" end caps can't fix. Pvc cement one end cap but not the other. Twist on/off. Pipe can be permanently mounted to spot of choice...
