I think most of us with FWCs that have been on rough roads, etc. over the years had this issue. My resolution was to take the frame off and as Vic noted the tabs had broken on the bottom. The fix for me was to rotate the frame 180 degrees as the tabs on the top we fine :-) I wish I had...

Some "killer" LifePO4 battery deals. If you google the advantages they are many and probably the last battery you'd ever buy assuming you don't overcharge it. Lighter, smaller, etc., etc.

Curious why no electrical in the walls? I assume because of potential heat loss but having a lot of electrical in the roof means that the wire will be stressed (granted only a little) each time you raise/lower the roof. I've seen on some campers, the wiring that goes down along the push...

This looks great. I'm just in the process of signing up my Zoleo and think this is a great idea. Hopefully, the number of messages is minimal as I won't have a large number of texts/month quota initially.

This is what I did on my older (now sold) Eagle w/ the backer plates, etc. It won't help getting the old ones out but I'd recommend you put backer plates on the truck bed and on the camper. Easy to make (I just bought some alum and drilled hole, squared it out for the bolt).

I'm not sure what the amp rating is on your 2 AGM's but you may lose a bit of storage but depending on your electrical usage, you might be ok. I'm assuming the LifePO's you are purchasing will come with a BMS too and if that's the case, make sure you set that up correctly and you should be fine...

Yes, very fun ride and experience... we'd go as far as the 4 of us (and 3 dogs) would go each day, find a great campsite, etc. Water is the main issue. You fill up and filter it when you can find it along the way/trail. There are some lakes, etc. that you can find and we spent a few nights...

If you were near Boise, here's what I had on my truck. We went to a flatbed so this doesn't work anymore. The bottom step can be removed and there's a handrail that also can be added or removed. It's really heavy duty. If anyone wants it, I'll sell it for $75 but you'll have to pick it up.
