We have the same on our flatbed and used botls but love the ease of it compared to ladders, etc. The only thing is you still have to be careful bending over to get ou the door and down the first few steps :-)

I personally would take a 1 piece roof over a 2 piece (with screws and a seam) even with the "tin canning".... I bet there are a few cases where the 2 piece roof leaked and having one with screws and the amount of maintenance required, I'll take the 1 piece.

The issue is that you can't get the roof line off without taking the roof and vinyl off. The roof fabric is tucked up along the edges (or used to be).

It sounds like you made great decisions. I get why people don't do it (cost) but the cost is worth it and makes a lot of difference (as you noticed).

Even if it was covered under warantee, they'd have to remove the whole roof (maybe) and it get on the 'work bench'. Then remove the top layer and reapply either the tape or some other adhesive and then re-install. Could be at least a day's worth of work. I'm also not sure if they vinyl would...
