We have the Grandby with the front dinette and king slide out bed. We love both, especially the ability to sleep NS. No more crawling over in the middle of the night.

Anyone use the Thule Hullavator mounted on their camper to haul around their kayaks? I have a double I want to take but don't look forward to getting it on the roof the traditional way.

Thanks for the links and replies. New here and still searching out information before we take the plunge and place an order. Looking forward to visiting both the AT and FWC factories in a couple of weeks. Smokecreek1, if you don't mind me asking, how much was the strut kit from FWC?

How difficult and expensive is it to install your own gas struts to lift the roof? Seems like the option prices at FWC and AT are pretty pricey.

I'm looking to upgrade my current camper. I'm interested in the Granby and would like to know if the cabover bed when slid out is big enough for two to sleep with heads going forward. I'm 5'8". Thanks for any input.
