I've done my fair share of bushwhacking over the years and have plenty of scratches and dents in my camper to prove it but I have never had that happen once. I've even had my surf rack pads (and rear door :o) impaled by branches but that's another story.

I would not disagree with ths statement.

Not in the winter. I bet a call to the Island in the Sky visitor center would give you all the info you would need to know concern wise.

Mark, I pulled the trigger on a pair in early November when they were released and have no complaints thus far. I've spent a few days aired down crawling over large, sharp rocks up Hanaupah and Trail canyons in DV followed by a week in Baja, and a handful of local weekend mountain trips too and...

Interesting, wish I could have seen that. Maybe it will become an option down the road.
