For one thing, it looks like there is quite a bit more cabinetry, which would impact the cost. Inside and outside shower also. Feels like there are a couple other special features, but I can not think of them off the top of my head.

I never go to a pressure lower than I'm willing to drive out on. That is my safety measure, the compressor is a convenience. That is good reasoning.
