Rather than just barrel on through without a care in the world...I got out and checked what kind of ford this would be. Good idea. :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Must have aftermarket accessories?

Come on, your killing me. New truck, new camper and you want me to dump new tires and spend a grand on new tires? My 401k hates you. :D Yeah, I know. But tires are the only thing that touches the ground. I should say, if you are going off-road then you will want better tires. If you are...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West A couple of option questions

Or, maybe ask them if they run the electrical wires even if you don't get a 3 speed powered vent. If they do then just get the regular crank open passive vent, so you can install the 14 speed on your own, provided someone here on WTW can tell you if that will work. As far as I know that is...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West A couple of option questions

The Fantastic fan is the basic model, but I think they can do the 14 speed. From what I have read of others opinions, personally I would go with the 14 speed.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Must have aftermarket accessories?

Heh... whenever seeing this thread, I hear a zombie voice-- "Must... have... aftermarket... accessories!!!" x2 First thing I would do to a new truck is put on better tires. OE tires are usually pretty bad. And definitely go with the Weather Techs.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Dual Jerry can holder

Just Say'n. No offense taken. But... :P The footwell tank did a few things for me, -moved over 100 pounds of weight forward and lower on the truck. -created a flat place to stack Pelican cases, and utilized an otherwise mostly wasted space while opening up other valuable space -water...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Looking for Finch reviews

I do not own a Finch, but I was going to get a Finch before I changed my mind to order an Eagle. What changed my mind was taping the dimensions out on the floor so I could see the difference in the sizes. I then mocked up some of the storage that I was going to have in the camper. The Eagle...

So what system did you settle on? A 3 jack system. ;) I am still deciding, but I am pretty sure I will end up ordering Reico-Titans. I really do not want to drop my camper.

Unless you have to attach the legs as well... They are tedious to put on and off, but its not that hard. Good point. That is why I am going to be using a set of jacks instead, quicker and easier. (In my mind at least.)
