Another idea is to visit the area around St. George, Utah. It might not have as many RV snowbirds as AZ. Also know that the Navajo Nation is in Stay At Home mode with their roads (not county and state roads) closed to visitors.

Thanks. This was nice to read on a rainy, windy, and all around yucky day outside. Many on the areas you went to, I have been to and I was able to visualize your trip. Yet you also introduced me to new things to see in the areas. It makes me want to go back.

I'm not sure of your layout since I don't have an Alaskan. I have a small trailer. But I stuff two sofa throw pillows (about 8" diameter and 18" long) into my cabinets that have my can goods, dishes, etc. while I am moving. That works for me.
