    Bed extended?

I think I will have to keep it extended as I must sleep diagonally to fit. If I ever switch the sink and stove, then I will make a king slide out. I'm 84" tall.

East of the Mississippi FWC owners chime in

Great idea Squatch, I like a chill gathering of like minded individuals better than a big commercial event. Although I will still probably attend the one in August at the Mid Atlantic Overland Expo.

    Another rear awning.

A bunch of people chimed in over on the American adventurist forum about the Shadyboy and they all ranted and raved about how well it handled high winds. There is talk of doing a group buy. The price is around $400 but it may come down if enough are ordered. Many people are jumping on that...

DSI hot water heater or tank less water heater?

Sometimes when my eccotemp L5 ignites a big flame shoots out of the top. Be careful or you may just BBQ your camper. I just made it so I can hang my L5 from the drivers side rear bracket.

    Another rear awning.

Well, I asked the guys at American adventurist and they said it held up really well, while easy ups were thrashed and trashed around them...

    Another rear awning.

Over on American Adventurist there was a big rally this weekend and a number of the guys had Shady Boy awnings up plus I heard it was windy enough to destroy a couple of staked down Easy-Ups. I'll ask and see what they said... On another note I was thinking of fabricating my own rear awning...

    Roof planning questions.

I just had this conversation a minute ago. I'd love to do the Renogy flex panels 100W for $200, but I already have two 100W rigid panels and I might rig a set up for the Yakima racks on top of my Hawk much like BillHarr did. I'm trying to save some $$$ for my upcoming trip, and this seems like a...

East Coast Trip Part 1, Stockton to Baltimore.

Hey bill do you have pictures of how you mounted your hard solar panel on your Yakima racks? I have a couple too. It would save me from having to buy some flex panels. Dan

Nice report Bill. I'm sorry everything is closed here in the east. The parkway is always closed until Old Man Winter has fled the forest. When you guys head back home please bring the rain with you, we've had enough! Dad says hello!
