    AC Unit for Campers

That's freakin awesome! Now I can go for a hike in the desert National Parks and not have to worry about leaving my dog in the hot camper. It sure beats the FWC AC unit for $700! Thankee sir!

I'm planning a big trip come May and I'm heading in that direction. I've really enjoyed all of your "parts" and I took notes. Thank you very much for sharing those. I'm also now interested in starting a blog for my trip.

Truck 'n TC with 5th wheel behind?

Seems like I've seen something similar used by the military and at steel soldiers rallies. I used to restore a few military vehicles. I would like to see a video of them backing it all up! Two pivot points isn't as easy as one.

Jack bracket width and awning mod question

How much do the mechanical jack brackets stick out from the side of the Hawk? I'm thinking about mounting some square aluminum tubes to them and attaching my 6' Tepui awning with screen room, but I don't know if I want it sticking out too far. Would screwing or bolting it to the frame be more...

ARB Awings - Anyone Have Experience with them?

You're welcome sir, the sad part is many of the awnings are made in China. I do like my 6' Tepui awning with screen room, although 8' would be ideal. If I don't order the Shady Boy (yes ^^ $$$), I'm considering somehow attaching my Tepui to my Hawk. It does have the screen room which is nice in...

ARB Awings - Anyone Have Experience with them?

I have a Tepui Tent awning on my expedition trailer. http://tepuitents.com/collections/amenities/products/tepui-6x6-awning for $250 . They also have an additional screen room $125 which I also have. You should look at the Shady Boy Awnings. They're made in America/Canada, cost around $400 and can...

I spoke with Matt at mainline and he suggested picking the camper up on the following Monday the 16th of March. In case there are any setbacks or travel delays. So it looks like my dad and I will be driving up on that Sunday before and getting a room then going to mainline on Monday for the...

    Roll over couch question

They said if I wanted to switch the tables it would cost me $325. One person told me my camper was done so it would be more or less a PITA to do it. Later when I called for the shipping weight, I was told the camper is still on the production line....hmmmmm?

Best truck for my 2002 Grandby?

Actually rock sliders should be on the heavier side and typically run close to 90 lbs each. Those running boards and steps you see on many trucks really don't offer any real protection from rocky roads.
